Really easy, fast, and delicious! Ive cooked this for a lot of family and friends and gets good reviews every time. you can adjust ingredients to your preference and it always turns out great.
Bring to boil chicken broth, cream of chicken soups, and pepper. De-bone rotisserie chicken and add to pot. Roll out biscuits on flat surface and sprinkle lightly with flour. Cut into squares and add to pot. After all dumplings have been added reduce heat to medium heat and cover, watching to make sure it doesn't boil over.Cook for 20 minutes or until dumplings are done. You can also add carrots and or peas to this recipe.
If you'd rather use your own chicken I recommend boiling chicken breasts in water with seasoning (garlic) until it is falling apart. Also the Grands butter flavor biscuits seem to work better. Ive tried other brands and flavors such as flakey or homestyle but they dont turn out as good. You really dont need to add much salt or any. If you use peas with this recipe, stay with the frozen. The can kind turn to mush. Shredded carrot are awesome in this recipe!
