Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Shrimpin' Dippin' Broth

Recipes »  Appetizers  »  Seafood

This is one recipe I NEVER want to lose! Prepared on Eyewitness News Midday by Dave Trombetta of the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. so it's definitely OK to post share. This is one of the most delicious Shrimp recipes. I love it because you get plenty of broth to sop up with your bread, and it's SO flavorful. Definitely Cajun, so not for people who don't like spicy food.

Cooking time may vary, based on type of rice you choose to serve, so cooking time does not include rice cooking time. Preparation time assumes you have shrimp that has been peeled and deveined for you. Cooks very quickly!

"Packed with flavor. Tastes like I worked harder than I did. I could only find clamato juice so used that instead of clam juice. Loved the results and will use clamato next time too. I want to find a good Cajun seasoning blend with less salt than the one I used tonight. Thank you for sharing a great meal that is easy and really warms the bones. We just loved soaking up the broth with fresh crusty French bread. We served this with a simple green salad and abundant conversation. "

OM NOM NOM! LOVE IT! So easy to make and so so yummy, I had a few people over last night and the bowls were filled, refilled and practically licked clean! It's that magic, savory sauce that keeps me craving this all the time, Imma overdose on shrimps!

So good!! I used about 3/4 of the clam juice and the rest chicken broth, also put some fresh lemon juice in the broth.

I did not have clam juice and used clamato juice with a tsp of tomato paste. Turned out delish!! Will definitely make again.

Very good! My family loved this dish. I found the clam juice a little overpowering for my taste, so I'll cut back a tad next time. But overall, it's an excellent and easy meal.

This was yummy and good for my husband who had a cold and can't taste much - he really liked it ... But keep in mind you need to double this recipe if you are feeding more than 2!
