Great dessert for a Luau!
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Arrange foil cupcake liners in cupcake pans.
3. Prepare cake mix in a bowl (as box instructs) and set aside.
4. Drizzle a little melted butter into each cupcake liner.
5. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over butter.
6. Arrange pineapple tidbits in a circular pattern on top of the sugar, place a cherry in the middle and pecan pieces on the sides.
7. After each cupcake liner has fruit and nuts inside, pour cake batter into each one- (under-fill each one- you will be tipping these upside-down and want them flat)
8. Bake 25-45 min. Test after 25min- and bake until toothpick comes away clean.
9. Prior to serving, unwrap, tip upside-down and place on serving tray- beautiful!
*Yummy- served with vanilla ice cream or whipped topping!
