Enchilada Casserole Preparation
Brown hamburger and onion. Pour off fat. Cut 8 tortillas into 1" strips and layer into other ingredients except cheese in 8" x 8" casserole. Lay other 4 tortillas over mixture and spread cheese evenly on top. Bake covered for 45 minutes at 375(F) degrees, uncover and cook additional 15 minutes.. Let sit 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Can be topped with sour cream and/or salsa or eaten without.
