Original recipe makes 6
2 Apples; peeled & sliced
TOPPING
1 tsVanilla
1 tsBaking Powder
1/3 cNuts
2 Eggs
4 tbSugar
BREAD
1 cSugar
1/2 cBrown sugar
1 cButter
1 tsCinnamon
2 cFlour
1 tsBaking soda
1 cSour cream; (light or yogurt)

Apple Coffee Cake Preparation

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream. Put half of batter in pan. Lay apple slices on batter and sprinkle 1/2 of topping over them. Add remaining batter and sprinkle topping on it. Bake in 350 oven 35-40 minutes.
