Cherry's Cajun Spice Rub Mix

Original recipe makes
| 1/4 cupkosher salt |
| 1/4 cupchili powder |
| 1/4 cuppaprika |
| 2 tablespoonsonion powder |
| 2 tablespoonsgarlic powder |
| 1 teaspooncumin |
| 1 tablespooncayenne pepper |
| 2 tablespoonsdried thyme |
| 2 tablespoonsdried basil |
| 2 tablespoonsdried oregano |
| 2 tablespoonscoriander powder |
| 1 1/2 teaspoonsfresh ground black pepper |
Cherry's Cajun Spice Rub Mix Preparation
Mix all ingredients together and place in a jar.
Notes
Now Personally I also throw in a couple of tablespoons of my homegrown ground & dried jalapenos and usually use hickory smoked salt in with the kosher salt, about 1/2 of the 1/4 cup of salt. I will throw all this in a small food processor and grind it all togethr for about 1 minute till it's all mixed really well.
Store in a cool, dark place up to 1/2 a year.
