Original recipe makes 1 Serving
1/4 cupbutter; softened
1/4 cupapplesauce
1 cupsugar
2 Eggs
3 bananas; ripe, mashed
1 tablespoonmilk
2 cupsflour
1 teaspoonbaking soda
1 teaspoonsalt
1/2 teaspooncinnamon

Mom's Banana Bread Preparation

Pre-heat oven to 350(F) degrees

Cream together butter, applesauce, sugar and eggs. Add bananas and milk. Combine dry ingredients in separate bowl; slowly add to banana mixture, mix well. Grease loaf pan(s) and fill 1/2 full - sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar for a crispy top. Bake for 45 min (or until toothpick comes out cleanly).

You can add chocolate chips to the batter and bake in a muffin tin for 25-30 minutes for a great alternative. :)

Notes

Don't over-fill or it won't bake evenly.
