| 1/2 cupblack pepper; coarse |
| 1/2 cupsmoked paprika |
| 1/3 cupcumin |
| 1/3 cupcurry powder |
| 1/4 cupground mustard |
| 1/2 cupsugar |
| 1/4 cupmarjoram |
| 1/3 cupthyme; ground |
| 1/2 cuprosemary; dried |
| 1/2 cuporegano; dried |
| 1/4 cupbasil |
| 1/3 cupchili powder |
| 1/4 cupfennel seed |
| 1 cupWorcestershire |
| 1 cupSherry wine |
| 1 cupSouthern Comfort |
| 6 clovesgarlic |
| 1/2 cuponion powder |
| 1/3 cupgarlic powder |
| 1 cupbutter |
Rosemary & Garlic Spiced Chicken Preparation
Heat a frying pan on medium heat for at least 15 minutes.
Combine all dry ingredients and whisk together until you see an even blend. Rub this blend on your chicken pieces with your hands to ensure you cover the entire piece of chicken. Do not be afraid to be liberal with the seasoning because you can't over salt this recipe.
Let the chicken rest in this seasoning for at least 30 minutes in the fridge or wait overnight (best option).
Combine Worcestershire, Sherry, and southern comfort with garlic cloves and fresh rosemary and pour into your baking dish and set aside.
Use a 1/4 of butter to season frying pan for two quarters of chicken. Sear the chicken for about 5 minutes each side for color.
Place seared chicken pieces in baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
