These scones have a sweet almost cake-like texture. They are especially good with chocolate chip or currants mixed in, although my kids prefer m&m's the best.
preheat oven to 325 degrees
Mix dry ingredients and then beat in cream cheese, milk and butter.
Mix in chips if desired.
Drop large spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet
Bake at 325 degrees for 17-20 minutes
Yields 8 decent sized scones (this means I almost always double the recipe because my kids devour these)
