Original recipe makes 4 Servings
1 teaspoonssugar
1 teaspoonsgarlic powder
3/4 teaspoonssalt
1/2 teaspoonsground allspice
1/2 teaspoonsground cumin
1/4 teaspoonsdried thyme
1/4 teaspoonsground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoonsground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoonscayenne powder
1 eachpork tenderloin; about 1 pound
2 teaspoonsolive oil

Spice Rubbed Pork Tenderloin Preparation

1. preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

2. combine first 9 ingredients; rub over pork. Let stand 20 minutes. Heat oil in a medium ovenproof skillet over medium high heat. Add pork to pan; cook 4 minutes, browning on all sides.

3. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until a thermometer registers 155 degrees, turning after 7 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes. Cut pork crosswise into 1/2-inch thick slices.
