Ready in 1 hour
You can substitute 1 cup of ketchup or commercial bbq sauce for tomato sauce
"My family loved this. I used bbq sauce instead of the tomato sauce and it turned out great. The pork chops fell off the bone. My son is a very picky eater and he ate 2 of these. I did add some corn starch to thicken the sauce but either way it was great."- Jp4

1. Season the chops generously with salt and pepper, brown (in hot oil if desired).
2. In medium sized bowl, whisk together tomato sauce, coke, peach butter (or substitute), Worcestershire sauce, cajun seasoning, brown sugar and garlic powder.
3. Taste and adjust the seasonings as you like, and set aside.
4. Dip each chop in the sauce and place in slow cooker
5. Top with chopped onion, pour rest of sauce on top, cover and cook on low for about 4-6 hours or until chops are tender and cooked through.

star1219 3 months agoI read all the reviews. I agree with the sauce could use thickening. My chops still came out with PLENTY of flavor and I even used the sauce as a dip while eating. So tasty, lots of flavor! Def give it a try!

bonedi39 12 months agoReading other reviews, sure don't know how you can say it was bland. They were very tasty and hubby loved them. May need to adjust crockpot time; but very flavorful.
SecretInnocent 1 year agoI fiddled with the seasoning a bit by adding a good amount of mustard powder and some white vinegar. I also added corn starch to thicken and it was a huge hit! Definitely doing this again!

sallydanielsmith 1 year agoI just made this. After reading the reviews first, I took the pork chops out and added some corn starch to thicken the sauce then put the chops back in. Teenaged kids loved them.

Ljhfike 1 year agoThis was horrendous. We ended up going out to eat because we couldn't stomach this. The smell wafting through my house all day was awful and then when we took the pork chops out of the slow cooker the texture of them was indelible. On top of it they had hardly any flavor at all. We will not be attempting this one again and I'm truly sorry to the poster but I urge no or else try this either.
cguerrero 1 year agoNot very good. Bland, tasteless. Probably should not be a crockpot dish.
Jlrcakes 1 year agoThis recipe was very bland! The sauce was very thin I ended up adding corn starch just to thicken it. If I decide to ever make this again it will need some tweaking. Thanks for sharing recipe though, it was nice to try something new.

Calispur 1 year agoI didn't have peach preserves so just blended up a can of peaches with some sugar. I will make again with preserves. It was good, family enjoyed it.
Glockfan 1 year agoWe would perhaps make it again. I'd have to tweak it a little next time to suit my taste. Overall it was a decent meal.
