Original recipe makes
2 cupscooked chicken; cubed (no bones or; skin)
1 can; (10.75 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 can; (10.75 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 cup; (8 oz) sour cream
1 can; (7 oz.) herdez salsa verde -green hot sauce
16 corn tortillas; cut into quarters
1 cupColby cheese; grated

Netha's Crock Pot Casserole Preparation

Combine chicken, soups, sour cream and salsa.

In crock-pot, layer chicken mixture alternately with tortillas and cheese. Sprinkle top with cayenne chili powder.

Cook on Low for 4 hours, or High for 2 hours (chicken is already cooked, so you just want to thoroughly heat through so the flavors mix and the cheese melts.

Notes

I exchange Cream of Celery soup for the Mushroom, and I prefer using Monterey Jack over Colby.
