4 cupssoft white bread crumbs
1/3 cupbutter; melted
1 cupbrown sugar; firmly packed
1 tablespoonground cinnamon
4 large apples; peeled, cut into 1/4-in-slices
1 cupapple cider

Jodie's apple brown betty Preparation

Preheat oven to 350.

Stir together beat crumbs and butter.

Stir together sugar and cinnamon. Place half of apple slices in lightly greased 8-in square dish. Sprinkle apples with half brown sugar mixture and half breadcrumb mixture. Repeat. Pour apple cider over top.

Bake for 45-55 minutes until browned.
