| 1 1/4 poundground pork |
| 1 packshake & bake |
| 1 envelopebeef onion soup mix |
| 4 1/2 cansliced mushrooms |
| 1 largeEgg |
| 1/2 cupEvaporated milk; or half & half |
| 1 cancheddar cheese soup; divided |
| 4 cupsfrozen cubed hash brown; thawed |
| 1 cancream of mushroom soup |
| 1 largyellow onion; sliced |
| 8 ozsliced mushrooms; fresh |
Savory-smothered Meatloaf in Slow Cooker Preparation
1. Combine all ingredients, mix all ingredients up to the egg
2. In a separate bowl mix evaporated milk with 1/2 can of cheese soup
3. Mix in with meat
4. Pour thawed hash brown mix in bottom of COOL slow cooker, creating a bed on bottom
5. Add meat mixture to the MIDDLE of crock pot; if touches side, it won't cook as evenly
6. Mix in bowl, 1 can cream of mushroom soup with remaining 1/2 can of cheese soup
7. Coat top of meatloaf evenly
8. Cover with sliced onion and sliced mushrooms
9. Cook on HIGH for 1 hour
10. Turn on LOW for 6 hours
