Copied from the Oct. 9, 2011 edition of the Parade. Credit goes to Rachel Bilson. Chicken, potatoes, onions cooked in a Dutch oven on the stovetop.
Season the chicken with salt and pepper and coat it with flour.
In a Dutch Oven, saute the chicken in butter until golden.
Layer the onions and potatoes on top of the chicken. Top with the cheese, paprika, and salt and pepper to taste.
Add the sherry and chicken broth. Cover and simmer for 2 hours, or until vegetables are tender and the chicken is cooked through.
