Original recipe makes 12 Servings
4 Chicken breast halves; grilled and shredded
1 canchicken broth
1 canCream of Chicken Soup
1 canCream of mushroom soup
1 canRotel tomatoes
2 Roma tomatoes; dices
1/2 poundmushrooms; sliced
1 bunchCilantro; chopped
1 green bell pepper; chopped
1 red bell pepper; chopped
1 poblano pepper; chopped
1 purple onion; chopped
3 clovesgarlic; minced
3 - 4 Tablespoonschili powder

Jennifer's Tortilla Soup Preparation

Grill chicken. While chicken cools, put all other ingredients into a large pot (at least 5 quart size). Shred chicken and add to pot. Add water until soup is the consistency you like. Cook until all vegetables are tender. Top with Monterey-jack cheese, tortilla chips, or sour cream.
