Yummy Christmas time treat in my family!!!!
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Beat butter, sugar, vanilla, and salt in large mixer bowl until creamy.
- Gradually beat in flour.
- Stir in Chocolate chips.
- Shape level tablespoons of dough into 1 1/2 inch balls.
- Place on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until cookies are set and lightly browned.
Remove from oven and sift powdered sugar over hot cookies on baking sheets.
Cool on baking sheet for 10 minutes.
Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
Sprinkle with more powdered sugar if desired.
You must use mini chocolate chips for the recipe to work properly....and my family doubles or triples the recipe because it makes close to 2 dozen cooks depending on how big you make them and they seem to go SUPER quickly LOL
