Servings
Original recipe makes 6 Servings
2 1/4 cupsoatmeal; processed into flour
7 tablespoonssugar
1 teaspoonbaking powder
1/2 teaspoonsalt
1/4 cupshortening
1 bananase to comi
1/2 cupsoy milk

Banana Oat Scones Preparation

Preheat oven to 350. Process oatmeal into oat flour and add the rest of the dry ingredients to the processor. Add shortening. Pulse. Mash banana into milk. Add to processor. Pulse to combine. If using scone pan (preferred), spray with cooking spray and spoon dough in and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until browned on top. Cool on wire rack and then carefully turn out onto wire rack.

Notes

A scone pan allows you to not make a mess and essentially spoon whatever dough in whether it be moist or dry. Otherwise, you'd have to be careful with how sticky the dough is, and then cut the dough into individual triangle scones on the baking sheet.
