1 cApplesauce; EDEN
1 cEDENSOY
2 tsBaking Powder
3/4 cwalnuts; Chopped, (optional)
3/4 cRaisins; (optional)
1/4 tsSea Salt; LIMA
2 cWhole wheat pastry flour
1/2 tsAllspice
2 1/2 tsCinnamon
1 tsVanilla
2 tsBaking soda
1/2 cSafflower Oil; EDEN
3/4 cHoney
1 tsNutmeg

Applesauce Cake Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 F. Oil two inverted torte pans or one 8"x8" cake pan. Blend all liquid ingredients until creamy. Add baking powder, baking soda, spices and salt to flour and mix well. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir thoroughly. Add nuts and raisins if using and mix well. Bake 30-40 minutes, until center is done. If using inverted torte pans, turn cakes over and fill with custard. Decorate with fresh fruit if desired If using cake pan, cut into squares and pour custard over individual pieces.
