Chicken with Bacon Roasted Garlic Cream Sauce

Quick easy change up for chicken. Serve with rice for a hearty, tasty dinner.

Original recipe makes 4 Servings
1/3 cupCrumbled bacon; (or 4 cooked slices)
1 tbspRoasted garlic
1 can(10.75 oz)Cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cupSour cream
4 Chicken breasts; boneless, skinless

Chicken with Bacon Roasted Garlic Cream Sauce Preparation

Heat crumbled bacon in a large ovenproof skillet.

Add chopped roasted garlic.

When sizzling, add soup and sour cream, Bring to a simmer.

Add uncooked chicken breasts and cover with sauce.

Cover pan and bake in oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Remove chicken and slice diagonally, serve with rice or orzo and sauce.

Notes

You could also skip the oven and simmer on the stove top covered, increasing cooking time by 10 minutes and stir occasionally.

This is a good recipe. My son licked the plate. I forgot to include sour cream but did include chopped spring onions at the end. I think using small chicken breasts would be better. And maybe some more garlic. I'd cook this again.
