The juciest most delicious turkey you will ever bake.. Will make you want to have turkey once a week.
Pre Heat your oven to 325 degrees
Make sure to remove the neck and other extra parts of the turkey
Cut your citrus into halves and squeeze the juice into a medium sauce pan (put the squeezed citrus aside as you will use it later)
Pour the bottle of honey into the sauce pan
Add the onion*s and garlic to the citrus/honey mix
simmer the sauce for approx. 15 min.
Place your turkey in a heavy duty roasting pan and stuff it with your left over lemons, oranges, onions, and garlic...
baste it with your premade citrus glaze *don't use it all because you will baste your turkey 5-6 more times
*Completely cover your turkey with heavy duty aluminum foil. try not to let it touch the top of the turkey because it will brown. Make it sort of a tent but fully covered.
Baste your turkey with the citrus glaze at least once per hour
The last 30 min of cook time remove the aluminum foil so that the turkey may brown
Let your turkey sit at least 20 min before carving
