Baked Chicken Broccoli Cordon Bleu Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Wash and clean chicken breasts.Pat dry. Place each chicken piece on a cutting board and cover with plastic wrap or wax paper. Pound with a mallet to about a 1/4 inch thickness. Once each piece is flattened, place a slice of ham on each, followed by the slices of swiss cheese. Start from the widest end of your chicken piece and roll up. Secure with toothpicks.
Melt the margarine in a pan over medium heat. Add each chicken roll and cook until lightly browned on all sides, (sometimes this is difficult if you have secured with toothpicks...just do the best you can). Do not cook chicken through, only long enough to get some color. Once browned, place chicken rolls in a casserole dish. Mix soup with 1/2 cup of milk and mix until creamy. Pour over the chicken rolls. Bake uncovered in a 350 degree over for 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. Enjoy!
