A basic miso recipe which can be embelished with seaweed, carrots, mushrooms, shrimp, chicken, noodles or anything you think will taste good in miso.

| 2 tspdashi granules |
| 4 cupswater |
| 3 tbsmiso paste |
| 8 ozsilken tofu; diced |
| 2 green onion; chopped |
Miso Miso Soup Preparation
In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, combine dashi granules and water; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to medium, and whisk in the miso paste.
Stir in tofu and green onions.
Simmer gently for 2 to 3 minutes before serving.
