This dish is great with white rice and if you can let it marinate first it's even better!
Slice 1/2 onion into thin slices. You can marinate the beef either in a shallow pan or a Ziploc bag. Sprinkle Adobo on both sides of the cube steak cutlets. Put the beef on the bottom, put the onions on top of the beef and then marinate with vinegar. Let marinate for 30 minutes.
In a saucepan, heat a small amount of olive oil on medium heat, add the can of tomato sauce, the water and the sofrito. Let that come to a simmer, then add the beef. Simmer covered for an hour. The beef should be tender and the onions should be soft.
