Servings
Original recipe makes 4 Servings
1/2 CupButter
1 PackageCream cheese; (8 Oz)
1 CupHalf-and-half cream
1/3 CupParmesan cheese
1 TbspGarlic powder
Salt & pepper; To taste

Easy Homemade Alfredo Sauce Preparation

In a medium saucepan, melt butter. Once butter is almost melted, add the package of cream cheese. It is easier to cut it into 4 pieces so that it melts quicker. Once butter & cream cheese are mixed together well, add the half & half, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and salt & pepper. Stir together until well mixed and saucelike. Remove from heat and allow 1-2 minutes to thicken. This happens quickly. Enjoy atop your favorite pasta, chicken, shrimp, or anything else.
