Spritz Cookies Preparation

Pre heat oven to 375 degrees. Cream shortening, adding sugar gradually. Add egg unbeaten and beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients and almond extract. Fill a cookie press as per instructions if you have one. Form with cookie press or make spoon sized balls from dough and place on a greased or non-stick cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
