Caramel Pecan Turtle Bars Preparation
Line an 8X8 pan with aluminum foil & spray with cooking spray. Let foil over hang pan by 2 in.
Blend flour, sugar, corn starch in a large bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in pecans. Press into prepared pan. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 11 - 13 min until crust is lightly browned. Remove from oven.
Heat caramels, butter, cream & corn syrup in high microwave for 1 - 2 minutes, stirring frequently until smooth. Spread carefully over baked crust. Bake 11 - 13 min until caramel is just starting to bubble. Remove from oven and place on wire rack.
Sprinkle bars with chocolate chips and let rest for 5 min until chocolate is melted. Carefully spread chocolate with back of a spoon to create swirl effect leaving some or caramel exposed.
Refrigerate 2 hours until chocolate is set. Remove from pan by lifting foil. Peel away foil before cutting.
