Great cheesy and garlic taste
Preheat oven to 425*. Mix all ingredients except hamburger and let sit for 10 minutes so the oats can become moist. Add hamburger and mix with hands. Roll hamburger in 1 1/2 inch balls on a cookie sheet covered with aluminum foil (to make clean up easier). Cook in oven 10 - 12 minutes.
In a sauce pan heat olive oil. Add red pepper flakes, onion, garlic and fresh basil. Saute until onion is soft. Add Beef stock, crushed tomatoes and parsley. Simmer and cook down until it has the consistency you want.
On an open face bun place meat balls, then cover with sauce. Eat right away so your bread does not get soggy. Use a firmer bun.
This can also be served over spaghetti noodles.
