Good old fashioned apple sauce...simple and delicious. Use flavourful apples for best results.
Peel and chop up apples; place in a small sauce pan.
Squeeze the lime half over the apples and stir to coat.
Add apple juice and cook over medium heat; add sugar when simmering.
Cook until soft enough to puree. Let cool. Great with my Roast Pork recipe or as a snack.
