Gently force out any air then seal the bag.
To aid in preventing freezer burn, place the filled bag into a
2nd gallon sized freezer bag and seal it.
On your outside bag, label or write the name of the side dish and today’s date using a Sharpie marker on the bag and place in the freezer.
At time of cooking ingredients
1 tablespoon cornstarch
Pour content of bag into a saucepan and bring sauce to a boil.
Reduce heat and let simmer for 20 minutes or until carrots are tender.
Add 1 tablespoon cornstarch, stirring constantly. Simmer for
1-2 minutes or until sauce begins to thicken; serve.
