Original recipe makes 6 Servings
1 CupMedium salsa
1/3 CupPeanut butter
2 tablespoonsFrozen orange juice concentrate
1 tablespoonSoy sauce
1 tablespoonLiquid honey
1 tablespoonGrated ginger root
1/2 teaspoonCurry powder
12 About 21/4 poundsBonless skinless chicken thighs
Green onions and chopped peanuts for garnish

The nutcrocker Preparation

Whisk together salsa, peanut butter, orange juice concentrate, soy sauce, honey, ginger root and curry powder in the crock of a slow cooker. Place chicken thighs over sauce. Turn pieces to coat both sides with sauce. Cover and cook on low heat setting for 5 or 6 hours or high setting for 21/2 to 3 hours, until chicken is tender. Garnish chicken with chopped green onions and chopped peanuts , if desired.
