1 1/4 tsSesame seeds
2 tsFresh ginger; grated
2 tbLite soy sauce
1 tbSesame oil; plus 1 teaspoon
2 tbOrange juice; plus 2
2 Scallions; chopped
1 lbTuna steaks

Asian Tuna Steaks Preparation

In a stainless steel bowl or plastic resealable bag, combine first 6 ingredients. Add the tuna and let marinate for 20 minutes. Broil or grill the tuna 6 inches from the heat source for 4-5 minutes per side. Cook until done as desired (some people prefer their tuna more rare than others do). Per serving: calories 221, fat 10.7g, 45% calories from fat, cholesterol 43mg, protein 27.3g, carbohydrates 2.4g, fiber 0.2g, sodium 354mg. Exchanges: 3 Lean Meat Exchange. Great way to enjoy a healthy meal

This was simple, delicious, and quick. I stir fried some vegetables and made some raven noodles to accompany it. Our family of 5 was very pleased, even the kids.

I served tuna over an Asian salad. I recommend reserving some of the marinade (strained) to drizzle over tuna and greens. The broiler method was easy, although I recommend 4 minutes per side. I did 5 and felt it was a bit too done. A very enjoyable meal.

Be vary careful not to overcook the tuna. It should still be pink inside.
