My cousin taught me how to make these. He used his sense of smell to determine whether the meat was correctly seasoned. Still one of my favorite experiences!
Mix all in large bowl. Smell to determine how much of ingredients. Using round "wrappers," place large teaspoonful meat mixture in wrapper and wet edges with fingers. Fold together, creasing the sides for a pretty effect. To cook, boil until meat is cooked through or heat 1/2 inch olive oil in pan and place dumplings in oil. Pour in 1/4-1/3 cup water and quickly place lid over top. Cook until meat mixture is cooked. Serve with sweet and sour or other chinese dipping sauces.
