Dead Banana Bread
Original recipe makes 1 Servings
| 1/3 cupshortening |
| 2/3 cupsugar |
| 2 Eggs; slightly beaten |
| 1 3/4 cupsFlour |
| 2 3/4 tspcocoa Powder |
| 1/2 TspSalt |
| 1 cupCrushed banana; (about 2-3 bananas) |
Dead Banana Bread Preparation
Beat Shortening until creamy - about 1 minute medium speed on and electric mixer. Blend in sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, beat well. Sift dry ingredients, and add alternately with bananas. Blend well after each addition.
Grease bottom of 4 1/2 x 8 1/2 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake 1 hr. Cool 10 minutes and turn on rack.
Notes
Add chocolate chips for additional flavor.
