Suggest a better descriptionsubmitted by: j.benjamins@a1.NL Preheat oven to 325x. Combine the sugar, baking powder, margarine and eggs. Blend in the bottle of extract. Add the eggs and the flour, one cup at a time. Add a bit more if the dough is too moist to form into logs. Spoon dough onto a greased cookie sheet and shape into two logs about 12 inches long by 1-1/2 inches wide. Brush the logs with egg wash and bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool briefly. Cut the logs diagonally into slices 1 inch thick. Turn each biscotti on its side and bake for 15 minutes more at the same temperature.
