A crunchy and yummy baked chicken
Preheat oven to 350? F.
In a shallow dish, mix together breadcrumbs, garlic, herbs, salt and pepper. In another dish, mix together egg and mustard. In a third dish, sprinkle the flour.
Dredge chicken in flour, then egg mixture, then in breadcrumbs. Cover completely, patting so crumbs adhere. Place in baking dish.
Place in oven and bake until chicken is cooked through, about 30 minutes, turning once.
Foolproof! You can mix and match ingredients that you have on hand. We've used spicy mustard instead of dijon, bisquick instead of flour, and often change up the spices, using dry spices or other blends we have on hand. It always comes out perfect and delicious!
