Ingredients
| 3 ouncesBoneless chicken; bite sized pieces |
| 2 cubesChicken bouillon |
| 7 cupsWater |
| 1 packageUncle Ben's Long Grain and Wild Rice; Original Recipe |
| 2 cupsSkim milk; (half and half for less healthy version) |
| 1 mediumOnion; diced |
| 2 stalksCelery chopped |
| 3 Carrot; sliced |
| 2 tablespoonsCorn starch |
| 2 tablespoonsWater |
Amber's Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup Preparation
1. Combine chicken, onion, boullion, celery, and carrots with 7 cups water. Bring to boil.
2. Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked.
3. Add rice package to water mixture and simmer 25 minutes or until rice is tender.
4. Add milk.
5. Mix cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water to make paste and add to soup to thicken.
