Original recipe makes 36
1/2 cUnsalted butter
1 tsVanilla
4 cCrisped rice cereal
1 cCandy bar, chocolate coated
1 cCorn syrup

Treats- Caramel Crispy Bars Preparation

In large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in corn syrup and vanilla; cook, stirring, for about 4 minutes or until mixture begins to thicken. Remove from heat. Stir in cereal and chopped candy. Spread into lightly greased 13x9-inch cake pan. Cover and refrigerate for about 1 hour or until firm. Cut into bars.
