Clam Shirataki Pasta (Hungry Girl)
|2 packagesTofu Shirataki Fettucine Shaped Noodle Substitute|
|1 cuponion; chopped|
|2 teaspoonsgarlic; chopped|
|1 6.5 ozcan chopped clams in clam juice; not drained|
|2 tablespoonslight whipped butter or light buttery spread|
|2 teaspoonslemon juice|
|1/4 teaspoonRed pepper flakes; or more to taste|
|1/4 teaspoonDried oregano|
|2 teaspoonsreduced-fat parmesan-style grated topping|
|optionalsalt, black pepper|
|optionalfresh parsley; chopped|
Clam Shirataki Pasta (Hungry Girl) Preparation
Use a strainer to rinse and drain noodles. Thoroughly pat dry. Roughly cut noodles.
Bring a large skillet sprayed with nonstick spray to medium heat. Cook and stir onion and garlic until slightly softened. About 5 minutes.
Add noodles and all other ingredients except parm-style topping. Cook and stir until hot and well mixed, about 3 minutes.
Serve sprinkles with parm-style topping. Eat up!
Serving Size: 1/2 recipe (about 1 1/2 cups)
