| 2 (28 oz.) canspork 'n beans; drained |
| 1 cupketchup |
| 1 smallonion; cut into small dice |
| 1 tablespoonyellow mustard |
| 1 cupbrown sugar |
| 1 tablespooncider vinegar |
| 4 slicesbacon; cut into 2-inch pieces |
Baked Beans Preparation
In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients and mix well. Pour into a greased 13- by 9-inch casserole dish and top with bacon pieces. Bake on lower-middle oven self at 300 degrees until beans are bubbly and sauce is syrupy in consistency, about 2 hours. Let stand to thicken slightly before serving.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
