Original recipe makes 8 Servings
8 ouncecream cheese; softened
1 tablespoonDry white wine; or use vermouth
2 tablespoonsMinced Onion
1/2 teaspoonWhite Horseradish
1/4 teaspoonSalt
1/8 teaspoonPepper
1/2 poundLump Crab Meat; Picked over
1/4 cupSliced almonds

Creamy Hot Crab Dip Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese and wine. Blend well. Mix in onion, horseradish, salt and pepper. Fold in crab.

Transfer mixture to a small shallow baking dish and sprinkle almonds over top. Bake 15 minutes, or until almonds are golden brown and misture is hot and bubbly.
