1/4 cBrown sugar
1 lbDried small white beans;
1/4 lbSalt pork
1 tsSalt
1 Onions; chopped
6 cWater
1/2 cMolasses
2 tsDry mustard

Boston Baked Beans Preparation

Pour beans into crockpot; add water. Soak for at least 6 hours or overnight. Cover pot and cook on HIGH for 2-3 hours or until beans are tender. Add salt, molasses, mustard, brown sugar, and onion. I used a ham hock and two thick slices of bacon for the pork flavoring. It was delicious and the perfect consistency.

I would use less molasses the taste was a little strong. However I did like the results and recipes are designed to be adjusted to the individual.Thank you
