In a bowl, combine all ingredients except warm milk and brown sugar. Spread evenly in a well-greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Immediately spoon into bowls. Pour enough milk over to moisten. Top with brown sugar or syrup if desired. Can also top with fresh fruit if you don't use apples.
Can use egg and milk substitutes to make this an allergy free dish.
