| 1 packageFrozen Ravioli or Tortellini; (any filling) |
| 1 tablespoonOlive oil |
| 1/2 poundGround beef |
| 1/2 mediumOnion; diced |
| 1 cloveGarlic; minced |
| 1 can (14.5-oz)diced tomatoes |
| 1 can (8-oz)Tomato sauce |
| 1/4 cupChicken broth or red wine |
| 1 can (4-oz)mushrooms; drained |
| 1/4 teaspoonBasil |
| 1/4 teaspoonOregano or thyme |
Ravioli Bolognese Preparation
Prepare frozen pasta as directed.
Meanwhile, for sauce, place oil in pan, heat. Add ground beef and brown. Stir onion and garlic, and cook until soft. Mix in remaining ingredients. Simmer for 5 minutes stirring occasionally. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve over prepared pasta.
Cooking time: about 10 minutes.
