Lamb Burgers with healthy taziki sauce Preparation
Mix the lamb, onion, oregano, salt and pepper in a bowl. Shape into 4 burgers. Grill burgers until medium-rare (about 4 min. on each side) then let them “rest” for about 3-5 min. Meanwhile, mix the mayo, garlic, lemon juice and mint in a small bowl. Serve burgers one english muffins with the mayo mix
Note: We use dehydrated minced onion instead; Italian Seasoning instead of oregano (because we don’t have any); 2 t. of lemon juice instead of zest and juice; and sometimes dried mint if we don’t have fresh.
