"i must confess, i tried this simply out of curiosity, and didn't really expect it to work out as well as it did....it was amazing, the salmon was nice and flakey, perfectly done, and the marinade was absolutely gorgeous, i'll definitley cook this again....brilliant"- blinkyboo

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine butter and brown sugar in a bowl, and microwave for 30 seconds until melted together. Stir in mustard, honey, and soy sauce.
Heat the olive oil in an oven-proof skillet over high heat. Season the salmon with salt and pepper, and add to the pan flesh side down (skin side up). Cook for 2 to 3 minutes (or until fully browned) and flip. Brush with half of the glaze and place the pan in the oven until the salmon is firm and flaky (but before the white fat begins to form on the surface), about 5 minutes. Remove, brush salmon with remaining glaze.
Glaze is great, keep remainder to add to salmon during dinner as it may need some extra.

Lucy482719 1 weeks agoAbsolutely amazing! Halved the mustard amount as not a massive fan of the taste and it was just gorgeous. This has changed how we will eat salmon from now on!
Daydreamer1227 4 months agoThis was delicious!! I backed the salmon on aluminum foil instead of on the stove and it came out marvelous. My entire family loved it and are asking for it again. The subtle sweetness is what got me.

Vgeorge75 6 months agoI'll have to try the recipe again but this time with the proper mustard. I used spicy brown (it's what I had on hand) and it just didn't turn out well. Wasn't horrible but I wouldn't cook or eat it again as is. We'll see.
CYAG 7 months agoI don't t eat fish. Or shellfish. But I make them for my family. They raved about this salmon..it will be on the ' make again' list. Very nice texture..flaky and moist with good flavor..so I was told..Thanks for posting.
