Peanut Brittle Crispies
| 1/4 tsSalt |
| 1/2 cButter |
| 1 cFinely crushed peanut |
| 1/4 cSugar |
| 1 Egg; unbeaten |
| 1/2 tsBaking soda |
Peanut Brittle Crispies Preparation
BAKE at 375 degrees for 9 to 12 minutes. MAKES about 2 1/2 dozen cookies Sift together the flour, soda, and salt. Cream butter. Add sugar,creaming well. Blend in egg. Add dry ingredients gradually; mix well. STir in peanut brittle. Shape dough into balls, using a rounded teaspoonful for each. Place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake in moderate oven (375 degrees) 9 to 12 minutes. Cool 1 minutes. Remove from sheet. *For use with Pillsburys Best Self-Rising Flour, omit soda and salt.
