Mix yeast, warm water and sugar and let stand for 10-15 minutes. Add flour and salt. Knead for 10 minutes. Roll small pieces of dough into rectangles and cut into 1/2 inch strips. Twist strips and place on a greased cookie sheet. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic salt. Let rise for 10 minutes. bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes, or until slightly brown.
You can also sprinkle with parsley flakes and/or lemon pepper.
