Flower Pot Dessert Preparation
If using clay pots, reserve 1/2 cookie for the bottom of each flower pot to cover the hole.
Crush cookies in a food processor or with rolling pin in a ziplock bag.
Whisk the pudding and milk for 2 minutes. Refrigerate, to set.
Cream together the cream cheese and powdered sugar.
Fold Cool Whip into the chilled pudding.
Add the cream cheese mixture. Stir until well blended.
Drop the cookie in the bottom of the clay pot. Position the straw in the middle, while holding in place, layer as follows:
2 Tbs. cookie crumbs, 2 Tbs. pudding mixture, 2 Tbs. cookie crumbs, 2 Tbs. pudding mixture. Insert the flower into the straw. Spoon cookie crumbs to cover top. Add a gummy worm. Refrigerate. Or, just enjoy!
For boys, omit the flower.
Notes
Another great idea, especially for small children, is to use plastic Ball freezer jars with lids instead of clay pots. The lid fits on the bottom of the jar, just like a flower pot tray. Cute!
