This is a perfect side dish to almost any menu. Saves a lot of time and tastes delicious.....
Wash the potatoes and cook them in the boiling water (the whole potatoes) with the bay leaf for 10 minutes. This will make your potatoes cook faster without burning in the oven.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
After your potatoes are soft to touch (with the knife or a folk), drain them and cut each potato into 3-4 pieces. You do not want the pieces to be small. Add olive oil, garlic and the herbs, salt and pepper and gently mix the potatoes together to make sure they are covered with the herbs and olive oil.
Place the potatoes into the oven and cook for 25-30 minutes.

If you prefer not to cook the potatoes before baking them, it will take more time for the potatoes to cook through when baked.
